This, Too, Will Pass

Wow!!! I came across a profound statement from a forwarded email "This, Too, Shall Pass". Well, all of us have known this old age truth, but most of us understand at intellectual level, appreciate it and then move on with our mundane lives.

I have also learnt that in Life we need to be 'Witness' rather than the 'Doer', which I always intend and want to be. Seldom we realize that things happen by themselves, we are just a 'Witness'; well some times a catalyst, but never the 'Doer'. Hence once we realize that we will always look at the Life with a very different unattached way and then Live it Fully and Most Powerfully, as we will no more be attached to the results of our actions.

Well, coming back to mundane day to day living. Today was a pretty hectic day right from morning 7:00 am, yes even on a Sunday I woke up at my regular time and then started contemplating. Spend quite some time in a relaxed manner with Family. Then on to the Temple (Jain Mandir) and then after lunch, went to complete the Accounitng and other stuff which I have delayed like forever.

Amazingly, I was at office from 1:30 pm till 9:30 pm and still did not feel tired at all. Today was also some relatives' birthdays so wished them as well.

Also realized again that no one really needs me, i.e. even if I leave today for whatever, my immediate family would also do well, it is a diffeerent thing that in my presence, I may be a Catalsyt in their life. But am certainly not the 'Doer'.

Well it is midnight now and I need to sign off, to take on another day tomorrow morning. THIS TOO SHALL PASS.

Second post with further learnings

Well today is the second day of blogging; I have realized again that three things matter in life for relationship or for that matter any thing else;
1. Forgiveness
2. Trust
3. Love (as in Prem and not other meanings);

Once we have these three with any thing or any body we could build a great relationship with that or them.

Also focus on what you are doing is pretty critical.

On other notes:
I have created a new group today for LIPIC using Group feature of Google.
Also waited for the contractor to come for decisions on completing the basement work but to no avail; now we will be meeting tomorrow.

First Blog

I am starting my Blog today. And this is my first posting. Here are my learnings as of this morning.

"The most important thing in any interaction is that how delightful the interaction is and what each party feels about it". This could be any kind of interaction whether that of a Father-Son, Customer-Vendor, Husband-Wife, between two friends etc.

We must all strive to have 'Delightful interaction' to make life worth living.

Some other learnings are

"Do what you think is the BEST and then let the results come or not, but be OK with what you did".

"Peace and Harmony are more important then being righteous"

"Just be yourself"

"Focused actions are sure way to get results"
